Rain or Shine Theatre Company invite you to an evening of rip roaring entertainment with Shakespeare's hilarious comedy classic. Petruchio, a poverty stricken gentleman from Verona, journeys to Padua in search of a wealthy wife. He encounters Katharina, a self willed shrew who leads him on a merry chase! Their honeymoon becomes a humorous battle of wit and insult. Perhaps Shakespeare's most clever and sophisticated comedy - guaranteed to be an hilarious evening.

It's a fact

Our Lady of Mount Grace RC Church -given to the Franciscan Friars in 1655, when Catholic chapels were illegal, the chapel is concealed in the roof of the Old Hall and is invisible from the street below. Possibly the only Catholic church in which John Wesley preached
