A unique and diverse play, As You Like It is one of Shakespeare’s enduringly popular comedies, full of contrasts about romance, politics, gender, personal identity and love. Liberty and banishment, love and hate, cruelty and kindness – all play their part in this vibrant and inventive production. Join Heartbreak as they recreate the Forest of Arden: a most enchanting place to be, a place where characters are free to talk, where they can escape from the extremely oppressive world of the Court and find their own path to enduring happiness. Bring your chairs, picnics, wine and friends and enjoy an enchanting evening of outdoor theatre at its best.
