Free Disk ParkingFree Onstreet Disc Parking is available throughout Northallerton town centre, including the High Street; restrictions vary between 30 minutes and 2 hours, please see local road signs for details. Since October 2009, charges apply in the Applegarth Car Park, the East Road Car Park and the Community Centre.
Parking discs are available from many of the local shops as well as the Tourist Information Centre.
Northallerton Station is on the East Coast Main Line with trains through to all parts of the country. North/South rail links are well established with through trains to London, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh while the East/West corridor is served with direct trains to Leeds, Manchester (including the airport) and Liverpool in the West and Middlesbrough and Sunderland in the North East. Today these links are part of the life blood of Northallerton as a transport hub and inter-change for business people, shoppers and tourists alike!

Locally. bus routes link Northallerton and the villages with neighbouring market towns and cities The Dales corridor is served by buses to Bedale and Hawes whilst the bus to Osmotherley offers a gateway to the North York Moors. The bus to Bedale also provides a link to The Wensleydale Railway - not just a visitor attraction but a vital link between town and village.
